Widex

Widex is a hearing aid manufacturer founded in 1956 in Denmark. With 60 years of experience, Widex is driven by their mission to provide hearing solutions that are easy to use and seamlessly integrated into the daily life of their users. Widex is known for their trademark “Widex Sound,” which is inspired by the full spectrum of sounds and provides wearers with a rich listening experience that reflects the world around them. Widex was the first hearing aid manufacturer to produce a fully digital hearing aid with wireless technology, and in 2012 received the European Inventor Award for their technological advances.

WIDEX BEYOND™ HEARING AIDS

BEYOND is Widex’s brand-new Made for iPhone hearing aid, designed to provide accessibility through wireless connection. With Bluetooth or transmission from DEX wireless accessories, your BEYOND aids connect to your smartphone, allowing for streaming functionality and personalized control over your listening experience. BEYOND allows for hands-free phone calls – conversations that stream directly to your hearing aids – as well as stereo sound when it comes to streaming music, movies, and other media. With heightened personalization through convenient control on your smartphone, you may make simple adjustments to your listening experience (program features, volume, etc.).

BEYOND is an advanced hearing aid with cutting edge technology, and is available as a receiver-in-canal aid. Aside from its wireless streaming capabilities, BEYOND provides a natural and seamless listening experience with features such as True Input Technology, Soft Level Noise Reduction, and SMARTWIND Manager. These features work together to provide improved speech recognition and comfort in any environment.

UNIQUE Hearing Aids

UNIQUE hearing aids are fully automatic devices that provide wearers with a full spectrum of sound, from amplifying the very quiet to softening the very loud. The UNIQUE filters out sounds wearers do not want to hear, while focusing on the ones they do. Designed for people with active lifestyles, the UNIQUE is flexible in almost any environment and is equipped with noise reduction in outdoor environments and filters for wind noise. UNIQUE hearing aids connect to smartphones through the COM-DEX app, which gives wearers control over program features and volume directly on their phones. UNIQUE is available in six different models, with styles that are worn completely-in-canal, in-the-ear, receiver-in-canal, and behind-the ear.

DREAM Hearing Aids

DREAM hearing aids are fully digital devices with a fast processing system, which makes sounds clearer and more true-to-life. DREAM is designed for hearing aid wearers who are both seasoned pros and new to hearing devices. Filtering out background noise and giving wearers control over their focus, the DREAM operates well in challenging noise environments. With the DREAM, sounds are more well-rounded, without distortion, and are designed to treat different degrees of hearing loss. Smaller in design and equipped with a longer battery life, the DREAM is available in the following styles: completely-in-canal micro, completely-in-canal, in-the-ear, receiver-in-canal, and behind-the-ear.

SUPER Hearing Aids

The Widex SUPER is designed specifically for people with severe to profound hearing loss. The SUPER takes all of the excellent features of other Widex hearing aids and strengthens them for higher degrees of hearing loss. Speech recognition and conversation features are enhanced, especially in noisy environments. Sound processing is fast, and provides a powerful, clear sound. The SUPER also boasts a long battery life and weather-resistant coating, to accommodate different environments and lifestyles. The SUPER is a receiver-in-the-ear hearing aid.

Zen Tinnitus Therapy

Hearing loss and tinnitus often go hand in hand. Widex offers a hearing device that specifically treats tinnitus, a “ringing of the ears.” Available as both a standalone device (ZEN2GO) or embedded in the aforementioned Widex hearing aid models, Zen Tinnitus Therapy is a four part program that includes: 1) counseling, to assist the limbic system in altering negative interpretations of tinnitus via cognitive and behavioral intervention; 2) amplification, to stimulate the ears and brain and to prevent over compensation; 3) fractal tones, known as Zen Tones, which provide acoustic stimulation; and 4) relaxation, a combination of behavioral exercises and sleep management strategies.
